Opened in 2014, the István Fekete Visitor Centre can be found on the eastern side of the lake and accommodates an interactive exhibition show-casing the wildlife of Lake Deseda. Its features include a freshwater tank and a scale-model of a life-size oak tree and its inhabitants. The building complex is complemented by an educational trail with stops to observe the flora and fauna of the wetlands.
There is also a playground for kids and a boat & bicycle rental service. The Deseda pleasure boat also runs from here. The building is directly accessible by foot or bicycle. If you arrive by car, you can park your vehicle in the parking lot of Kemping street or in another one along the road leading to the boat-house, from where the visitor centre is accessible after a short walk.
