Those who want a classic waterfront recreation, may use the designated beach area on the western, Toponár side, not far from the dam. On the beach, there are both sunny and shaded areas, newly built dressing rooms, sanitary facilities, snack bars, and – during the season – first aid posts are available. A playground may entertain children, while those longing for sports can play on the beach volleyball court. Those who wish to try out extreme water sports can use the wakeboarding course which starts on the beach near the dam.In cold winters, ice encases the northern shallower territory of the lake which attracts ice-skaters.
